Materials
Scarborough Insulations can offer many types of insulation materials and have a comprehensive understanding of each, this allows us to provide the most effective materials for a particular job.
Rockwool www.rockwool.co.uk
Panels are processed from rockwool fiber bonded with thermosetting synthetic resin to form Simi rigid to rigid panels and manufactured according to ASTM C 612 requirements,Blanket Produced from basalt rocks processed from basalt rocks processed from the molten state into fibrous form to get flexible rolls. Blanket is produced according to ASTM C 665 and ASTM C 553,Wired Blanket are high density thermal and acoustical insulation produced from mineral rock fivers spun from molten basalt and stitched to galvanize or stainless steel wire to meet the ASTM C 592 requirements,Pipe Section are Pre formed rockwool pipe insulation is manufactured from rock fibers bonded with thermosetting material to form hollow cylinder that fit over the pipe produced according to ASTM C 547 & C 585,Loose Wool is obtained by spinning the molten basalt rocks into thin fibers then collect in loose form produced according to ASTM C 764.

Ceramic Fibre Blankets
Ceramic fiber blankets are made through process of pricking, heat-shaping, cutting and rolling. They feature high quality of tensile strength, texture uniformity and plane surface, high temperature, chemical corrosion resistance, thermal shock stability and low thermal conductivity. They have low density, good resiliency and excellent sound absorbing and filtering property.
Isowool
Isowool offers a wide range of insulation solutions for new build and retrofit applications that make it easy to comply with the latest building regulations. The range includes blown wool, solutions for timber frame construction, loft insulation, floors and Room in a Roof.

Foam Glas www.foamglas.co.uk
Cellular glass is non combustible and non absorbent and will offer the best fire protection to the insulated structure. Insulants that are non-combustible but absorb combustible liquids or combustible gases will increase the combustibility of the system. FOAMGLAS® neither absorbs oils, other fluids or highly flammable hydrocarbons, unlike other insulants made of mineral fibres or plastic foams.
Armaflex www.armacell.com
Flexible, closed cell, CFC-free (ozone depletion potential of zero), elastomeric material for the insulation of pipework, ducting and vessels with superior fire performance.
Armaflex has a low thermal conductivity and very high resistance to water vapour transmission and is widely used for condensation control and energy saving.
